Physical Education (PHED)

The Physical Education program prepares students with the knowledge, appreciation and skills they must have to qualify for job opportunities in public and private schools. A major in physical education is offered for teacher certification in N-12. Emphasis is placed on practical, hands-on experience through laboratory and field work, culminating with student teaching and a senior seminar.
